Abstract

The paper focuses on numerical study how vibration due to underground trains influences the load-bearing building structures. Diagrams of vibration levels for monolithic floor slab depending on frequency are obtained. Levels of vibrations on floor slabs and columns are measured. The simulation of dynamic load from underground railway onto load-bearing building structures is presented as an example. Recommendations for generation of design model in dynamic analysis of structure are provided.
